In 2004 he wrote a booklet on the subject. He has appeared on National and International Radio Programmes discussing health issues during Hajj and Umrah. This book contains the latest information. Most of the information contained in this book is from the author’s personal experience when treating people during Hajj and Umrah and treating people who have returned from Hajj and Umrah. From previous editions, many queries have been submitted by readers. This provided the author with more information on the issues to address in this latest edition.About the Islamic Medical Association:Formed in the early 70’s, the Islamic Medical Association of South Africa (IMASA) consists of all Health Care Professionals with a vision to establish and project an Islamic value system solely for the Service and Pleasure of Allah SWT. This is achieved by conducting and disseminating relevant research and educational programs such as Islamic study circles, meetings, seminars, conferences, publications, Primary Health Care Clinics, etc.The IMASA also conducts treatment programs for cataract surgery, circumcisions and renal dialysis.
